Protecting the health of your natural teeth is always our first priority at Greenwich Dental Group. We do everything possible to preserve and enhance their function and appearance. There are times, however, when a tooth extraction becomes necessary.
• Trauma or extensive decay
• Overcrowded, unhealthy teeth
• Untreatable infections
• Extensive gum disease
• Inadequate room for wisdom teeth
When your dentist does recommend an extraction, our goal then becomes to ensure your comfort through all stages of the procedure.
Before the extraction, we will review with you the basic plans and details of what will occur. Then we will administer a local anesthetic designed to keep you pain-free for the duration.
At the end of your appointment, we will send you home with complete after-care instructions to ensure your continued comfort. Among other concerns, that will include limiting you to soft foods for a few days after your surgery (no popcorn!). Your dentist may also prescribe pain medication to address any lingering soreness.
Or complete the form below and a member of our team will contact you within 24 hours.
