Dr. Marc J. Novak

Dr. Marc Novak was awarded his doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) from the University of Connecticut and completed advanced restorative and surgical training at the No. 1 hospital in the state of New Jersey, Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Novak believes in a conservatively proactive approach to dentistry with a level of personal attention to patients that has become central to the philosophy of Greenwich Dental Group. His comprehensive planning is carefully crafted to treat all levels of oral healthcare in order to provide you the care and commitment that you deserve.
Dr. Steven Altman

Dr. Steven Altman received his doctorate of dental Medicine degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Lutheran Medical Center in New York. He provides comprehensive dentistry services including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea and restorative dentistry. Dr. Altman prides himself on utilizing state-of-the-art dental technology and research to provide the best care to his patients, meticulously detailing every procedure, whether it is a simple filling or a full mouth makeover. He is committed to listen carefully to his patients to understand their interests and concerns so that he can collaborate with them to achieve the best possible results dentistry has to offer.
Dr. David A. Zadik

Dr. David Zadik’s commitment to continuous education and professional excellence began many years ago. After earning his undergraduate degree in his hometown from the University of Toledo in Ohio, he went on to complete his dental graduate work at the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan, followed by residency programs at both Detroit Mercy and Mt. Sinai hospitals. He then added to his expertise by engaging in rigorous advanced training in the field of restorative cosmetic dentistry. In the years since, he has continued to seek out educational opportunities in new technologies that are transforming dental care and cosmetic options for today’s patients.
Dr. Josephine Ieraci

Dr. Josephine Ieraci received her doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Danbury Hospital Residency Program. Prior to her joining Greenwich Dental Group, she was a dentist for six years in Rye, NY, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Sarah Downes

Dr. Sarah Downes is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida. She went on to receive both a master’s degree in oral biology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Downes’ academic research focused on active learning in elementary oral health education. In recognition of her leadership and commitment to the profession, she was honored with the 2020 Dental Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists. After living and working in Manhattan, Dr. Downes is now delighted to call Greenwich, Connecticut home. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside the office, Dr. Downes enjoys running, hiking, photography, practicing languages, and taking long walks with her husband and their golden retriever.
Dr. Donald Pogoda
For over forty years, Dr. Pogoda has been a longstanding member of the Old Greenwich dental community. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pogoda has established a reputation for high-quality dental care, and his personalized attention to each patient has been described as unmatched. Since partnering with Greenwich Dental Group, he continues the legacy of dedication and trust that he has instilled as a staple of Old Greenwich.
Dr. James H. Doundoulakis
As a Harvard-trained Prosthodontist, Dr. James H. Doundoulakis is a specialist in restoring and replacing cracked, broken, or missing teeth with state-of-the-art esthetic and dental implant techniques that improve chewing, eating, and smiling. He helps people look better and feel more confident about themselves. Dr. Doundoulakis has extensive experience in implant dentistry, dental implants, implant teeth, and implant tooth replacement. He is a past president of the Academy of Osseointegration, the world’s most renowned dental academy devoted to the clinical practice and research of dental implant therapy.
